How is mid face lift surgery performed?

The patient exits the hospital without bandages but with 2-3 special paper stickers in the lower part of the eye and cheekbone height.

Mid face lift recovery

During this specific operation we have no incisions and no inks. The patient however has an edema-swelling which begins to decline after seven days and disappears totally within 20-30 days.

The patient, during recovery process, follows an anti-inflammatory treatment which in combination with the use of cold patches daily, accelerates the result dramatically.

The patient has a slight numbness in the temple area which recedes 100% within 15 to 30 days after surgery.

When do I return to my work?

In 5-7 days after surgery the patient can return to work. Full activity is permitted a month after surgery.

What are the complications of Mid Face Lift

The main complications usually are:

• hematoma
• contamination
• facial palsy (rarely)
