This procedure takes place when we have the total completion of the reconstruction process, including the reshaping of the contralateral breast.

The reconstruction of the nipple areola complex can be performed, simply by tattooing the area. The main disadvantage of this technique, is that we do not have an actual curved nipple areola formation.

The modern reconstruction technique of the nipple-areola complex is a combination of a small surgery performed under local anesthesia, combined with a small color simulation in order to create a palpable nipple, with volumetric display and a mosaic appearance similar to the other nipple.
